| More about Francis Hunger
Exhaustion Unlimited is the second part of the exhibition History Exhaustion by Francis Hunger. Using installation, video and graphic the artist deals with the consequences of the failing realisation of different models of society in the 20th and 21th century. While the first exhibition stated the exhaustion of the repertory of alternative modells of society in history, its continuation reflects on the consequences of this exhaustion. The assumption: The Exhaustion of history as a resource for the construction of future implies the permanent accommodation in the present system. A system which is itself in a state of exhaustion and which can only be preserved though postponing the consequences of its exhaustion into the future, till the point when nothing can escape from it anymore.
