Beatrice Jugert
* 1971 Bremen | lives and works in Berlin
In her objects, installations and performances, Beatrice Jugert explores the meaning of symbols, signs and rituals removed from their original political and social context. She seeks to discover and examine new perspectives for a correlation of the individual and the group, collective living and working situations as well as the integrity of today’s societies. The notion of utopia and mythological traditions are central to her work.
